TACTICAL GAMEPLAY
Put together a crew of survivors and use a range of steampunk weapons and bots to scavenge for resources, slow down the horde, and reach safety. Shardpunk: Verminfall mixes turn-based tactical strategy with RPG, survival, and resource management. From battle tactics to the most difficult decisions on who should receive the last medpack or rations, you’ll need to take charge and (hopefully) live with its consequences.

VICTORIAN STEAMPUNK
The Rat Swarm has breached the walls of The Capital and flooded the city with its vermin horde. Push through three districts with progressively more vicious enemies, rising emergency levels, and supplies that dry up like blood from a knife wound. Constantly on the move, you’ll scavenge bodies and resource crates risking that with each detour the rats are getting closer…

  • Make a thing! Glue mannequin limbs to robo-parts. Draw on a smiley face. Slap on a few stick-on tattoos to finish it off. Oh, did we mention there’s NO Undo button? Time to roll with the punches!
  • Make a living! Fulfill wacky client requests however you can. From six-armed action figures, to fancy meals served from a toilet seat – any request is (unfortunately) possible. Explore their world and defeat your ultimate enemies: perfectionism and good taste.
  • Fend off haters! Flying tomatoes, rabid hammers, electrifying eels… Fend off foes in time or ignore them and see what “statement” they leave on your precious thing.
  • Upgrade your toolbox! Collect cash for your creations and re-invest it in supplies, tools and workshop upgrades. Expand your inventory or risk ending up making yet another armless Venus de Thingy.
  • Couch Collab! Test the limits of your relationships by playing any challenge in 2-player couch co-op mode. Lower your expectations now: you two will be making some butt-ugly things.
  • Share your creations! Use the built-in video recorder to share your creations with friends, foes, and the world wide web.

Game Description
Welcome to The Hollow, a blighted and dying place, and home to the Drakes.

Drakes are the vegetable folk native to these parts, and they need your help. They’re hungry, thirsty, and need a place to sleep. They can literally die of boredom. It’s on you to save them. Build gardens to provide them with food, wells for water, and yoga balls and puppet shows to keep them entertained. Even treadmills and solar panels to generate power for Tesla coils and electric fences, as you will quickly see they need some protecting…

The Drakes aren’t the only residents of The Hollow – The Feral have overrun the land, looking to shred anything happy or good. Battle them one-on-one with a wide array of weapons ranging from tennis rackets to nail guns, bring your friends to lend a hand, and build your defenses so you can take them out without lifting a finger.

Travel from region to region, season to season, taking the Drakes and their village with you. Each region is over a square mile of territory to explore, dynamically generated and populated with each passing season.

You must balance your time carefully. What supplies are most crucial at any given moment? What does your village need? Metal from the supply caches to build your defenses, or crystals from the blighted regions to grow your Drakes? Prove that you’ve got what it takes to help the Drakes and take back The Hollow.

Game Description

Agarest begins with a hero, who at birth, was given a difficult task in defeating the Archdemon.
