I’ve uploaded a standalone CODEX crack for my Puyo Puyo Tetris repack. Get it if you had troubles with Voksi’s crack.

Recently CODEX cracked two Denuvo games – Dragon Quest Heroes 2 and Total War: Warhammer II, making scene “propers”. Since game builds they released are the same, as my repacks, you need only those cracks – no point to make a full re-repacks for me. Recently Microsoft started pushing a new security update (KB4284835) for Windows 10, which basically stops most CODEX Windows Store cracks from working on some machines (not all). This update is the hidden one and not visible in Windows Update Control Panel. You should uninstall it manually.

Run command line window as admin and type:
wusa /uninstall /kb:4284835

Wait until it completes and reboot.

Fuck you, Microsoft. No, still fuck you. For UWP alone.

The whole thing written above may be a big mistake. So don’t uninstall this update until your UWP games REALLY stop working.

Looks like uploader Zan_Dev, who posted links to Games4Up website, decided to include malware in my fresh repacks. I’ve checked his latest reupload of NFS Payback and it really has my modified setup.exe, which install some malware and miner on your PC. Thanks to Javier Juárez for pointing that out.

I’ve also checked a couple of older re-uploads, they came clear, but it doesn’t mean all of them are.

I’ve deleted all links to that site and will ban anyone posting them in the future. Beware, Games4Up is a malware distributor. Spread the word.

If you ever downloaded something from that site, check your PC with some good scanner. I’d recommend free Dr.Web, AdAware and similar tools.

Update:

The reason the previous repacks installed and this one doesn’t is that the game size reached the size, when much more memory is required for decompression. Xatab’s repack uses very outdated compression techniques, that’s why it requires much less RAM and works OK on low-end machines.

The latest repack of The Sims 4 seems to be buggy on many users machines for reasons unknown. Cause I didn’t even change the compression technique for at least two latest builds of TS4. Since I can’t replicate the notorious “65.1% hang bug” on systems I have access to, the only way is to rebuild the repack from the scratch using slightly different tools. But to find the tool which won’t cause the same bug, I need you to do some tests for me.

Since my “Upcoming Repack” topic is horded by similar requests, here is my answer.

I don’t repack 3DM release of FFXV, cause it’s not complete. Their version is based on Origin preload and the crack is not actually a crack, but an EXE file from official game demo.

While you can play the campaign till the very end, ALL DLCs but 4K Textures/Videos are not usable, alternative endings and other content from Royal Edition are also can’t be activated. So with that release you’ll miss quite a piece of the game.

Since I focus on quality, it would be very stupid idea to make a repack based on obviously not complete release. The Steam version, which was released yesterday, has almost 53 GB of changed files and a newer general build number. Yes, it’s not cracked and nobody knows, when it will be. But that is not the reason for me to break my rules. You may get the repack from some other repacker/group with lower quality standards, I don’t care.
